Ladies & Gents,

As promised:

That's the Jag XJ40 rad. It is now fully protected.

Pirtek 38mm ID hose just fits over the top of the torsion tube. The chassis might need a bit of a fettle Wink

The 'snake skin' pipe is the return from the rad. I had a 10mm pipe TIG welded to a Rally Design hose ferrule. This connects via the blue hose (yes it is actually blue in real life) to: 1/ Rad expansion outlet 2/ Header tank.
The connector is situated at the highest point of the return line to allow easy air bleed.
The fuel pump is from a Jag. I made a bracket to attach it to the Van's existing heat exchanger cable bracket.

That Gates flexi hose is great. That's the feed to the rad, 38-45 90° Samco hose connects the flexi to the rad. You can just see the joined throttle cable behind the blue hose. This will be replaced at a later date with a full length cable.

At the moment I havent conpleted boxing in the rad. I also have a front spoiler (to be modified at a later date). My fan is clicking on and off throughout journeys. Mind you I do them at 70. I'd better cure this prob before summertime Eeeek

I'd also better hurry and bung in some form of heating.

Question for you Mr Balders...

my set up is gonna be summut like this

I notice on your blue in real life pipe it tee's to header tank (frontera jobby?) and Rad Expansion outlet. What is the rad expansion outlet?

I was assuming that I would only need to connect my blue in real life pipe to the frontera header tank where indicated on my pic (To X-Tank Here bit)?

Thoughts please

Your first post your getting yourself confused I'd say.

But by the second post you've come round to the idea.

The amended drawing you posted is correct and is as I have got mine which is working perfectly an never gets hot.

I don't know why ES had a T in the real life pipe. My thoughts are either two rads ( which is false) or another bleed from a heater matrix.
