This a cradle I made to fit a Subaru engine (it will mount all) to my early Bay.
It mounts to twe piecies of 90deg angle which needs to be welded to the outer side of the reach chassis. I had the engine fitted on this and it was aperfect fit. £100 will get you this and save you all that time in measuring & fabrication.
I also have modded spring plates so you can fit a 944 IRS to an erly Bay. Im after £50 for these.
With the above, you'll need a set of torsion tube mounts like pictured below (not available, sorry). You can use the mounts for a splitty as suplied by the likes of Creative
