Hi
I've tried searching and I cant find any post with this problem, this query may help others.
Its a 03 EJ20T STI
A few days ago my my fuel pumps kept running with the ignition on and motor not running, it has never done this before.
They used to stop after a few seconds.
I think the fuel pump relay is at fault.
My fuel pumps now have a constant earth.
My car uses a boost sensitive boost controller, there is a constant earth from terminal #6 (see diagram) which goes to my fuel pump earth, when I remove the fuel pump relay from the system no earth is then present at #6.

Hi
Update, its not the fuel pump relay.
A local Subaru place let me borrow their Subaru select monitor.
It showed me that starter signal wire was not sending an incorrect message. It was also able to cycle the fuel pump between 0%33%100%, during this test the fuel pump stop & speed up, its just kept running. So it looks like its the ECU, I had another cat fitted a while ago, I suspect that the battery wasn't disconnect during welding.
The local Subaru place can flash a STI ECU image onto a WRX ECU so that I can try that, I also have an Autronic SM4 ECU but I'm not going to fit that for a while yet.
