I have a 1986 1915cc Automatic T25 autohomes camper. Looking at swapping engine for 1.9TD peugeot power. Has anyone mated such an engine to an autobox before?

ok phil. We are going to run it as it is for a while (saved up for petrol haha) and will want to do the conversion after summer. I think i will be able to pick up an old peugeot / citroen as donor vehicle (did it before with a bay I once had) . will I be able to purchase the adapter kit from you? want to start getting things now so I'm ready to tackle the job as quickly as possible when ready. I understand I may have to loose the storage area over the engine hatch to accomodate taller engine (autohomes van). I'm pretty handy and not afraid of tools Happy .

I know you are en expert with such things - roughly how many hours do you think it would take to do the job?
