Hi, I'm new to the forum so here goes... I own a Subaru Legacy EJ22 and have a genuine interest in subaru engine conversions & builds. I will be active in the other forums but posted here first because I have a genuine subaru brown label maf sensor AA190 suitable for early 90's subaru engine conversions and very rare indeed. Many VW conversions are using the more common green label maf sensors AA160 type. The ECU should throw an error code if your subaru lump is using the wrong type. But if you do need a AA190 they are virtually impossible to find.
I have a used, tested, as new subaru brown label maf sensor 22680-AA190 for sale right now! I am a subaru enthusiast not a retailer 
This MAF sensor is compatible with the subaru ECU #22611-AA670
