does anybody know the inlet and outlet clearence for a ej20 sohc?

If it is an EJ20, then it has hydraulic tappets, & therefore do not have adjustment, but there is a huge lack of information in your post!!

hi martin,

the engines from a a R reg 20l injection sohc awd legacy estate. i brought it off of ebay it was metallic blue and smelt of dogs. these are the heads and they have adjustable tappets which i would like to gap before fitting the engine.

OK, inlet clearance is 0.18 - 0.22mm, exhaust,0.23- 0.27. All settings done cold, which with the heads off, is a bonus!!......
