Hi! '99 2 litre Legacy engine in t25,RJES parts including wiring loom. My problem is that when driving, at any speed, after 40 to 50 miles the engine will cut out as if the ignition has been turned off, & then after a second - no more than two, it all runs as normal, for a similar period. It is totally random & can occur going up hill - very noticeable (!!), down hill, on throttle, feathered throttle, whatever. I've downloaded the ecu, but nothing comes up. I am a mechanic, but this has got me going........ I did the conversion 5 - 7.000 miles ago & its otherwise brilliant, but I'm waiting for the day when it cuts out & has had enough!

Sounds electrical most definetly. I had a similair problem with my wiring loom where the car would work fine anywhere between 1 day and 4 weeks, then nothing. I changed the loom and its been totaly fine since then.

easier said then done I know. try pulling the tape back on the loom and check for dodgy wires, i know rich doesnt cut his looms down and I cant imagine a man with his reputation would let anything fishy slide by without him repairing it first.
