Seen lots of adverts on ebay and they say summut like 'NEW 12 " 12 VOLT RADIATOR FAN as Spal NEW'
what's the 'as' bit all about

I'd have thought it means 'Spal copy, not actually Spal'.

It does indeed.. I have been having a battle with the ebay seller who insists the fan will blow or suck and that you just need to reverse the wires !! I am led to believe this is rubbish and am even more in doubt as the fan actually has a rotation arrow on it !! if it was designed to blow or suck why would they put an arrow on it !!!
