Subie Newbie - EJ22 into Dunebuggy - radiator connection q's

Hey All,

As the title says...I'm a newbie to this Subaru swap thing...so be gentle..please...

I'm currently working towards getting an EJ22 installed into this open buggy/sandrail:




I have my motor...harness is out being modified...

I'm tring to work through radiator placement, tanks (if needed) etc.

I understand the connections #1 and #2 (as labeled):



My "connections" questions start here:



This is a summer time/fair weather only buggy - with absolutely no provisions for heat....can I just loop connections #4 and #5 back to each other ?

And lastly - where will connection #3 go ?



Do I "have" to run an overflow tank ?

You have to loop 4 to 5.

3 should go to filtered air.
