hello and converting 61 bus to take toledo mechanicals

hello folks

got a mk1 toledo which is in good condition mechanically and rather than sell it was considering the possibility of taking as much as possible from it and grafting it into my 61 bus

can anyone point me to threads or links or people who may have done similar

I would like to use as much as possible if I do it... as in even the air conditioning etc

look forward to any help

Is this the VW engined version? oh and is it Diesel or petrol?
